Complete Life

This poem may be my worst but tells my best story
It would be sad to me if you don't read on
Don't seek the rhyme scheme nor the vocabulary
Dig deeper to seek the message
The message of this poem is older than this age
It would outlast this age and see beyond the next
To get the message of this poem, patience is vital
This poem was born by an old tale which is new everyday
This poem borrows it's diction from the creator of the author
Unless you agree to be broken or have been broken,
The message of this poem would be useless to you
Unless hunger meets food, death becomes inevitable
Unless training precedes competition, a loss becomes certain
Unless the right decisions are made, regrets become unbearable
Never your life continue spending
    and forever forgetting the judgment pending
Never your pains and chains suffer
    and forever a change not dreaming
Never your ways by works strive to build
    and forever  the done work of the cross never believing
Never on your lips praises sing
    and forever His grace a home in your heart denying
Never a day your plans complete
    and forever His face refusing to seek
And never on the pay rely so much
   yet forever a prayer to him not saying
Cos all your spending an end never will see
Till the pending judgment meet
Faith with no faking in Jesus will change your fate
Decisions are incomplete without a complete faith

EVER-FRESH TRUST

When you think of the manner in which God provided the Israelites with the manna, it seems quite fascinating - Just enough for the day and a warning against keeping the excess for the morrow. God could have decided to give the people of Israel all the manna they might need for the rest of their journey. Or maybe He could have given it at least enough for three days up to a week.  Why did God choose the ‘petty manna flow’ approach? The fact is God knows the heart of man that, once he gets his needs beyond today, he forgets the source of the blessings and oftentimes esteems the blessing more than the one from whom it all flows. He knows what man can and cannot handle. He loves to stay connected to His own on the daily basis. Even though the almighty God is self-sufficient, he cherishes that relationship and seeks ways of maintaining it. BROOM-STICK TAPE MEASURE

It was a practice in remote Ghana in the not too distant past when older family members travel to the city to buy footwear for the younger family members, they would measure the feet of the prospective shoe owner with broom sticks. The way it works is that because most of the people could not tell the sizes of footwear that the individual uses, they would break a locally made broomstick (manufactured from palm fronds or coconut stalks) and align it by the feet and break just enough to match the length of the broom stick with that of the shoe owners. Even in cases when the older ones want to surprise the younger ones which normally occurs during festivities, this special measurement is done when the kids are asleep.
